School Safety Starts Day One

Safety is a top priority during the first days of school. Students will review fire drills, hallway expectations, and how to seek help when needed. Families can talk at home about who to go to for help, how to safely cross streets or ride the bus, and the importance of reporting concerns.
If you are driving, pay attention carefully looking for students who may not be as careful looking for you! Do not pass a bus in either direction if the bus has the STOP sign extended. Be sure to find out the drop-off location(s) for your child's school. Make a plan for pick up.
