Superkids with Superpowers

Parents Learn Super-Strategies

Our Motto: Today and every day, be your own superhero!

During our Morning Mug presentation on 12/17/19, our GVES school counselor, Tessa Perez, gave a powerful presentation to a group of GVES parents on the importance of teaching SEL skills which include mindfulness. The session was power-packed with the research and benefits of using mindfulness strategies and touched on things to do in the home on how to relieve stress. Check out this great TedTalk video to understand more of why schools are using mindfulness as a way to give students important life skills.
